Our rental fee includes the use of the event space for the duration of your event and the following items:
- 10 Round Tables (Seats 8 per table)
- 10 Rectangle Tables (Seats 6-8 per table)
- 12 High Tops (Seat 4 per table)
- Tables and Chairs Set Up/Tear Down
- Tablecloths
- Use of Partial Kitchen
- Use of Technology; Free Wi-Fi, projector and screens, and zoom capabilities
Absolutely! We encourage you to schedule a tour of our event space before booking. To set up a tour, simply fill out our contact form and one of our team members will get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to showing you around our naturally lit, urban venue and answering any questions you may have.
Kindly complete the contact form, and a representative from the venue will reach out to you with the available dates. To reserve your desired date, a deposit of 50% must be submitted.
At 42nd Street Event Center, we want to make sure that your event is exactly the way you want it. We do allow for outside vendors for catering and decor, and we are happy to work with them to ensure a seamless event.
We do have certain regulations when it comes to alcohol service, as we are required to provide liquor catering under our liquor license. If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, we highly recommend hiring one of our licensed bartenders to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
While we welcome outside beverages such as water, juice, and soda, outside liquor is strictly prohibited in compliance with our liquor license regulations. At this time, we offer limited on-site parking in our lot, as well as free street parking in the surrounding area. We are actively working to secure additional parking options in neighboring lots and will update our website as soon as more information becomes available.
- Smoking and e-cigarettes are only allowed outside of the building
- Illegal drugs are not allowed on the premises at any time
Firearms are strictly prohibited in the event venue regardless of any personal license and/or permit.
- The contract holder bears full responsibility for all event guests present on the venue premises, both indoors and outdoors.
- It is mandatory for all children to be supervised by an adult at all times, while inside the building or on the surrounding grounds.
- The rental timeframe encompasses Setup, Event, Teardown, and Cleanup, including the removal of all trash from tables and floors, personal belongings, and any rented items that are not owned by 42nd Street Event Center.
- Delivery of any item outside the rental timeframe is not permitted at the venue, and no item can be left on the premises beyond the rental timeframe.
- Compliance with all applicable City Ordinances, Minnesota State Statutes, Federal laws, and the established rules for the authorized use 42nd Street Event Center is mandatory.
- The venue must be returned in the same condition it was provided in.
In the event of a cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled date, the deposit will not be refunded. Cancellations made before that time frame will receive a 50% refund of their deposit.
